Phi Theta Kappa

I was invited to, and joined Phi Theta Kappa - the honor society of 2-year colleges. It seems somewhat strange, considering I'm only going back to take a few more classes before I apply for nursing school. Tomorrow (Saturday) is my induction. I have to be there at 11am and it's formal. Do I want to go? It is 2am, and I haven't decided how I'm going to get there, but I can say that SEPTA is completely adding to my frustrations. The El is, of course, shut down during the weekend, so if i took the 100, I'd have to complete the journey on a bus (which I really hate). The R5 would be fine, except they charge an additional fee if you don't have a ticket already, and I don't know their ticket sales window times, but I know they are horrible. The idea of paying extra money because they removed ticket machines and have horrible hours is insulting. It's most likely that I'll just ride my bike in (despite near freezing temperatures) and change there. This will be somewhat annoying, but I'll get over it.

Regardless, I should shower and get some sleep. I don't think the induction is necessary, but it may be useful or informative, who knows. But, if anyone's interestd, it's at CCP in the Bonell building, BG-10.
