So, this and next Saturday, I plan on doing the training for the motorcycle license (see Becki taught me how to spell that - gotten it right since!) But, after that, I'm not sure what to do. My apartment complex sucks and has a no motorcycles allowed policy. I don't even know what kind of motorcycle I'd want, but with my current class schedule of getting out of school at 9:30 pm on Wednesdays, I'm thinking a bike may be a good idea (granted 6pm traffic to school may be a nightmare). maskm thinks it's dumb to park a bike on the street since it's easily put into the back of a truck. I don't know what to do in the weird burbs..

My guess is that your motorcycle wouldn't likely be stolen in that neighborhood. How in the world does the apartment complex get away with a no motorcycle policy? No pets is fairly common, but I've never heard of an anti-biking clause. Maybe if you don't call it a motorcycle... claim its a hog and call it Charlotte. Unless there is a no pig policy as well.

Granted, you probably shouldn't park a pig on the side of the street. Trucks tend to come by and pick them up.

Hmmm. Our lease actually says no motorcycles on property without written permission. So we can check into that. And if we really decide it's a motorcycle or move, we can tell them that and play hardball.
