GRE and grades

I took the GRE. I don't know how I rate.

Math - 700 - 70-72%ile
Verbal-560 - 75-76%ile

What does that mean? It means I'm better than the average test-taker. Are all of the test takers college graduates? Does being in the top 25-30% of each mean anything, or is that still "average" to many places? Would it rectify my not-so-great GPA from Rutgers (about a 2.66). My GPA at CCP is currently a 3.27. The overall average between the 2 schools is (barely) over a 3.0.

I don't know what all of that means. I suck, I don't suck. I'm okay. I should give up on doing what I want. The world isn't coming to an end.

I guess now that the GRE is over, I'll see about doing volunteer work. I don't know how that will actually fit in, since I feel constantly busy as it is. Suggestions, input?
