Waah! BlogIt Ate my post! (well, clicking a stupid notification did, really)..

Anyhow. Had yoga class. My right leg is still bugging me a little bit, for a few weeks. Top of the calf/bottom of the thigh - behind the knee. It's not horrible, just keeps me aware of it.

Got a letter from Drexel. Has vaccination and clearance check information. No orientation date. SIGH!!!!! Alas, I can get this stuff done in the next month or so. I'm annoyed at needing to get TWO double PPDs.. (one before March 2nd, one before school lets out). I guess at $30/event it's not so bad.

I still gotta figure out the student health insurance crap. Would suck to be uninsured (well, I can't be). I guess I should find out a bit about the insurance stuff.

hey anti, sounds like you might've hyper extended a muscle ligament. I've had similar minor injuries from Jujutsu class. Not really much you can do for sprains or strains except rest. I wouldn't advise pushing the injury any, as those types of ailments can tend to develop into bigger problems from over compensating other ligaments to counter the pain.

Also you can try bathing a few nights in epsom salt. I don't know the particulars of why that works, but I had some weird knee pains from sitting zazen during a sesshin a few years back. One of the monks suggested I try bathing in epsom salt, and that along with aspirin when I woke up had me able to participate again in 2 days. Goodluck to ya!

I hurt/pulled my knee a few weeks ago while riding my bike home. My commute is 10 miles, but I took a longer route that night. Since I haven't actually been bike commuting much lately (train is right behind my apartment), my legs are a bit out of practice. And voila, owie knee. It doesn't hurt, but it does make its presence known. Salt baths are a nice idea. Maybe I'll try to get on in some night (before bedtime).

Thanks =)
